About Us
Our Story
I started this fund in honor of my brother, Travis Swager, who passed away February of 2020. My brother was such an important part of my life, not only as a fantastic sibling but also as a musician and a community member. We shared a strong love of music, playing instruments and attending concerts. He taught me about many different styles of music and was an accomplished guitarist. This fund to keep the music going in my life and to share it with others in my community.
The goal of the Make Noise Music Fund is to assist local children with financial aid to cover costs of instrumental music lessons and instrument rentals. With support from community members and collaborations with local music and arts groups, we hope to grow this fund and create a music program for generations to come.
We are always looking for an accepting these items:
Musical Instruments
Any instruments both new and used and that can be refurbished and gifted to those in need. Does not have to be in a case or perfect, just fixable.

Part of my endeavors with this fund is to collect used guitar and bass strings, picks, straps and yes even old vinyl records to create jewelry and other products to help raise money for the fund.
